South Shore Democratic Caucus-August 4, 2011

-Present at the meeting: Cohasset, Scituate, Weymouth, Norwell, Hull.  Absent: Hingham, Marshfield, Duxbury.

-Discussion on VoteBuilder. National database on voting rates.  Chairs or their designees have access to the program.  Marcus Starr is the contact at the party HQ. Usage: committee building, GOTV, fundraising.

-Discussion on place to hold DOY dinner.  Rockland Holiday Inn too expensive.  Chris Matthews will check on Scituate CC, Alice will check on SSCC.

-Patrice Metro has sent out the information on the book for the DOY.

-Cohasset (Agnes) has the books for the gifts.  A paperweight was chosen by the group.

-Hingham not present to discuss decorations.

-Norwell will set up for auction items.

-Steve May has a fundraiser on 8/21.

-Scituate is having a breakfast fundraiser for the senatorial candidates on 9/18. 

-Weymouth is running a Foxwoods bus fundraiser on 9/18, a Trivia Night fundraiser on 11/19 and a breakfast on 3/25/12.
