Minutes … Meeting,  Thurs., Dec. 13, 2009

Meeting called to order by Chairman Kevin McCarthy at 7:15 p.m. at the Pratt

Memorial Library, Cohasset.

Old Business and Announcements:

Members reminded to make $25.00 payments to Kevin Butler (Scituate Democratic Town Committee) for each Town’s share of the Candidates Forum expenses.

The final sum of each Town’s commitment for the purchase of the SSDC banner is yet to be determined.  Susan Haley will e-mail the information.

Plymouth County Democratic League holds its Breakfast on Sat., Jan.9, 2010

Update on Caucus format and changes.

New Business:

The remainder of the meeting was given over to Steve Grossman, former State Com. chair, who is running for State Treasurer in the regular election cycle and to Alan Khazei who is running for State Senator in the special election.

Both gentlemen gave complete, well-organized, and interesting presentations.
