Below is our agenda for our February 3, 2011 meeting which will be held, as usual, at the Paul Pratt Library in Cohasset commencing at 7pm:

     1.     Strategic discussion with Massachusetts Democratic Party Chair, John Walsh.  We will be reviewing the recent 2010 Election Campaign and results.  The Caucus is particularly interested in getting and early and well organized grass roots start on the 2012 Elections.  The Caucus is seeking more effective ways of providing grass roots input, communication and participation in Elections. 

 Please note that this portion of the meeting is open to all local registered Democrats in addition to the Caucus members ( No Press or Media)  - so feel free to invite your town committee members.  This is a great opportunity for local registered Democrats to dialogue and offer their thinking to the SSDC and to our Party Chair, John Walsh.

  

2.     After the above section with John Walsh we will convene the regular SSDC monthly meeting.  This portion will be for the designated SSDC representatives only.  The subjects we can cover are:

 

a.     Follow-up actions and plans as a result of our strategic meeting noted in #1 above.

       b.    Schedule of 2011 SSDC meetings.  Events we should plan now.  What do we to want accomplish in 2011?  What events do we want to plan?  When schedule the “Democrat of the Year Dinner”? 

 

     3. Open discussion - any topic of your choosing…let me know before the meeting if you want to add anything to the agenda and we will do so.  The upcoming State Convention?  It’s your meeting.
